1、Model Specification: Stator Size (Diameter × Height) Format: The motor model is usually indicated by four digits, where the first two digits represent the stator diameter in millimeters and the last two digits represent the stator height in millimeters. For example, 2207 means the stator diameter is 22 mm and the height is 7 mm. Significance: The larger the stator size, the stronger the motor power and torque. Common models and applicable scenarios: Small-size motors (such as 1104, 1206): Suitable for micro FPV drones (toothpick drones), lightweight but with limited power. Medium-size motors (such as 2206, 2306): Standard configuration for mainstream 5-inch FPV drones, balancing power and weight. Large-size motors (such as 2207, 2307): Suitable for aggressive flying or racing, providing stronger thrust but with greater weight. Reference: When a 2207 motor is matched with a 5-inch propeller, the single-motor thrust can reach 1990 grams, which is suitable for players pursuing a high thrust-to-weight ratio.


2、 KV Value: Speed and Response Speed Definition: KV value refers to the increase in motor revolutions per minute for each 1V increase in voltage under no-load conditions (unit: RPM/V). For example, a 2700KV motor runs at 45360 RPM at 16.8V full charge. Characteristics: High-KV motors (above 2600KV): fast speed, sensitive response, suitable for freestyle flying (stunt maneuvers) or lightweight FPV drones, but with low torque and requiring small propellers. Low-KV motors (1700-1900KV): high torque, high efficiency, suitable for racing or load-bearing scenarios, requiring large propellers. Note: KV value is directly related to voltage; high voltage (such as 6S battery) can significantly increase speed, but you must ensure that the motor and ESC support the corresponding voltage.

3、T Number (Turn): Number of Coil Turns Definition: The T number refers to the number of turns of the motor coil. For example, 21T means the coil has 21 turns. Due to structural limitations, half-integer turns (such as 8.5T, 21.5T) are common in brushless motors. Characteristics: Low-T motors (such as 4.5T): fewer coil turns, low resistance, fast speed, strong power, but high heat generation and power consumption. High-T motors (such as 21.5T): more coil turns, high torque, high efficiency, but relatively low speed. Relationship: The T number is negatively correlated with the KV value. In the same series of motors, the smaller the T number, the higher the KV value (for example, 8.5T corresponds to 4000KV, 10.5T corresponds to 3300KV).

ESC Matching: The maximum current of the motor must be lower than the rated current of the ESC. For example, a motor with a peak current of 52A is recommended to be matched with a 60A ESC for sufficient margin.
